Today is Alex's 29th birthday. When I asked him what he wanted to do to celebrate his birthday, he said the only thing he wanted was to spend time with Aidan and I. (Awww - how sweet!)
So, this afternoon we spent some time at a local playground/park. Aidan had a ball on the swing, going down the slide (all by himself!), and crawling around in the tunnel. He also went down a couple of slides with Daddy and one with Mommy.
Afterwards, we met Alex's parents for dinner at Alex's favorite restaurant, Bazil. Aidan enjoyed his very first meal ordered off the kid's menu (mac and cheese) and we enjoyed some yummy Italian food - mmm, chicken parmesan!
Aidan got Daddy an iPod for his birthday - something Daddy has been wanting for quite some time. Of course, Aidan wanted to try it out with Daddy, so they spent some time listening to music, looking at pictures (of Aidan, of course!), and watching videos on the iPod.
