Pumpkin carving... And painting...
While Daddy carved the pumpkin, Aidan got to work on his own pumpkin - painting it! He loves to do art work (especially painting and coloring) so this was right up his alley. He did a great job!

Update on the Girls...
We had another routine ultrasound this morning to check on the girls.
Both babies look great and Mommy is doing well, too... I'm up to a 26 pound weight gain, meaning I only gained one pound in two weeks. My blood pressure was 100 over 52, which they commended me for. The midwife said with my blood pressure being so low, I can look forward to living to be over 100! =)
My fundal height (height of the uterus) measured 46 cm, which is equal to (a singleton's) 46 weeks pregnant (6 weeks OVERDUE)!!! (Tomorrow will mark week 34 of this pregnancy). This is an increase of 9cm in just two weeks. According to the midwife, "YOU'RE HUGE!!!"
Baby A is now in a vertex position and still very much engaged in my pelvis. Her heart rate was a strong 146 beats per minute and she weighed in at a hefty 5 pounds, 5 ounces, which is up one pound and eleven ounces from two weeks ago!
Baby B is also doing very well... she is also in a vertex position and her heart rate was a strong 150 beats per minute. She weighed in at a hefty 5 pounds, 9 ounces (up one pound and four ounces from two weeks ago).
We are now getting down to the "wire," according to the midwife and ultrasound technician. We will start seeing both the midwife (and/or OB) and ultrasound technician once a week from now on. We're also to start Biophysical Profiles (basically an ultrasound test to check on the well being of the babies) weekly as well.
The midwife can't believe how big these girls are already - she is still predicting them to be about 7 1/2 to 8 pounds each at birth. We talked about setting a date for a scheduled c-section... The midwife said if it was up to her, she would schedule me for 36 weeks (which is just about two weeks from today). Unfortunately, the OB is the one who has to schedule it and, according to the hospital regulations, the earliest she can schedule it (without a medical necessity) is 38 weeks. I have an appointment with the OB next week and, hopefully we'll be able to set that date. It looks like the girls will make their appearances sometime around Thanksgiving! Not too much longer!

Brown's Berry Patch
We had TONS of fun yesterday at Brown's Berry Patch. We rode on a hayride, picked some pumpkins (right from the patch!), Aidan got to ride a pony and play in the "Barnyard." Aidan and Daddy also had a ball on the "jumping pillow."

ZooBoo Fun!
We spent most of yesterday morning at the Zoo with some friends from playgroup, having fun at ZooBoo. Aidan had a blast wearing his Brown Bear costume and watching all of the animals.

Aidan is Twenty-Two Months Old Today!
Aidan turned twenty-two months old today. Just two short months before he turns two years old! It's so hard to believe how the time has just flown by!
He continues to be my happy, funny, adventurous, mischevious, independent little boy. He's also my loving, cuddly, sweet-smelling precious baby. And I hope that never changes about him.
I'm excited to see what things Aidan has in store for us as he works his way to twenty-three months old. They say time flies, and they're not kidding!

New Designs...
Aidan spent most of the day at Grandma's house today, letting me get some much-needed work done on the store. (Okay, I admit it - I took a nap, too!)

Carousel Ride, Dinner, and Build-a-Bear with Mommy, Grandma, and Aunt Terri
Grandma has been looking forward to taking Aidan to the Build-A-Bear Workshop so he could make his very own teddy bear. She offered to let Aunt Terri and I tag along with them tonight. Aidan had a great time - I think his favorite part was pressing the buttons on the Build-A-Bear machine, although he does love his brand new teddy bear! Thanks, Grandma!
