Aidan is Eleven Months Old Today

Aidan is eleven months old today! I just cannot believe that in one month he'll be a year old. A toddler! Where, oh, where has the time gone?

As usual, we did our "day in the life" pictures, but this time we didn't get as many pictures as usual. Why? Well, because our little man is sick. Still. His viral infection seemed to get better but now it's back with a vengeance. We took him to the doctor this morning and he prescribed an antibiotic, so hopefully that clears everything up. Poor Aidan has been crawling around with phleghm coming out of his nose like there's no tomorrow. He's learned to hate the bulb syringe and saline nose drops. He'll quickly crawl away from us when he sees us coming with it!

Also, for the past three days, he's flat refused to take any formula whatsoever. We spoke about this with his doctor this morning and he said that it's Aidan's way of telling us he's ready to wean off of the bottles and go straight to three meals a day with whole milk. The doctor assured us that this was a good thing! Yet another reminder that my baby is growing up! Too fast, I might add!

He also hit a milestone of sorts on Sunday night. He's learned to drink from a straw like a big boy! So, of course, today was filled with LOTS of "big boy" cups with straws. Hey, any way we can get fluids into him works for me!
