We had a very nice Father's Day. On more than one occasion, Alex mentioned to me that he has the very best Father's Day gift anyone could ask for -- Aidan, of course.
Aidan was a very good boy and actually spent the entire night in his crib last night, which worked out really well as Alex had the night off. Of course, Aidan didn't actually go to bed until 1:00am, but that's another story! Although we can look at it as -- because Aidan didn't go to bed until the wee hours of the morning, he slept late this morning. I had to wake him up this morning at 10:00am for his breakfast. We let Daddy sleep until 11:00am and then woke him up to give him his Father's Day gift - a T-Shirt that says "Best Buddies" and has Michael and Aidan on it. Aidan also wore a matching T-Shirt.
Both sets of Aidan's grandparents came over for a barbeque dinner and we had a great evening.
