Aidan was especially well-behaved tonight. We don't normally have a problem with him in restaurants (and other public places) but, tonight, he was a perfect little gentleman. He sat quietly and colored on the menu (yes, he really did!) and then enjoyed a snack of pineapple before our dinners arrived. For dinner, he had a hot dog and french fries (yes, we could have ordered applesauce, but we figure he LOVES fries and he had already had pineapple...).
As we were leaving, Aidan got to pick out a big red balloon to take home with him. He was thrilled with it and played with it in the car on the way home, as we took his jacket off, during his diaper change, as he changed into his jammies, and right before bed. Who needs toys when you can have a big red balloon, right?!?!
